Policy
  • The Clore Israel Foundation supports non-profit organisations (amutot) based and operating in Israel.
  • An organisation wishing to apply to the Foundation for support should either be registered with the Israeli Ministry of the Interior as having amuta status, or recognised by the income tax authorities as a public institution for the exemption of income tax.
  • The Foundation is not able to consider requests from or regarding individuals, except through registered charities.
  • In certain cases, the Foundation is prepared to consider requests for construction and renovation of facilities. In such instances, funding may be spread over several years. In projects that do not involve building, donations are generally made for a one-year period, and sometimes for two, but usually not for longer.
  • The Foundation does not fund retroactively, does not cover budget deficits and does not usually support research, conferences or the production of books, films and videos.
